omg Lil Wayne is crap lol, sorry. Nas or Raekwon are probably the best hiphop rappers in my opinions, and Bone Thugs N Harmony (as a group or the members individually) probably the best for good flowing speed rapping. Twista is actually a faster rapper I think but doesn't have as good a flow.
Of course, I'm subject to change my opinion as I'm getting into new rappers almost weekly at the moment, but yeah..

Yoshi.. How's that pointless? Velocity was agreeing with the post.. would you rather they add a few letters just to say the same thing? rofl.
Anyways.
There's alot of good rappers..
The Game
E-40
Rick Ross

i love the game almost as much as kanye, but their styles are different so i couldn't really choose between the two properly. doctor's advocate kinda put me off the game though. had a few good tunes, but a lot of it was weak.

Yeah I pretty much like any song from The Game because of his style of rapping.. but there are a couple that are like.. crap. Lol. I think that The Documentary was a bit better then Doctors Advocate

documentary was miles better. shame to say it, but falling out with 50 was to blame for DA being worse (seeing as hate it or love it was the highlight of the documentary)

ahh :( pharrell is good but he's not really a rapper and he's better in the studio. he's only got one album too, and i'm damned if that's better than every other hip-hop album ever.

Yeah. Hate it or Love it was really good. One of my fav's though is How We Do. Falling out with Fifty was a good thing AND a bad thing.. Because although they make some sick songs together.. alot of his diss tracks against Fifty are pretty good :P while the Fifty disses against Game are pretty lame.

that's true. mr. potato head and the ghost unit intro are hilarious :)

Looll Yeah. I think it'd be safe to say that Game single handedly ruined G-Unit and then still had room to diss the YoungGunz, Jay Z, and others :)
And I just found this..
"The Game was on Power 106 in L.A. late last week and was asked by Big Boy “if you could pour hot sauce into any rapper’s eye, who would it be?” The Game said MIMS.
Everyone had a laugh and played down The Game’s response but the west coast rapper went on to say “where he’s (MIMS) from in New York, people don’t even like him.” Is The Game wrong? I really don’t think MIMS is considered the top rapper out of Wash Heights."
Looks like another diss track will be surfacing :P

LOL, lil wayne isn't crap. I have ALL of his albums and mixtapes and i agree some of his songs are useless, but some are great.

hip hop & rap are two different genres.
people often confuse them for the same thing! a better term would have been 'hip hop artist'

in that case, idk, i only really like a couple of artists, mostly like lethal bizzle, dizzee rascal, but i suppose they're more grime than hip hop.

You can still have a hip-hop rapper, it would be about the beats behind it and the style of the flow. Basically hip-hop music with a rapper.

How you gonna say Lil wayne is crap...you don't know nothing about this. Lil wayne is the best rapper alive....You crazy for saying that he is crap. Bone thugs was okay back in the day...Tupac is at legend status and he will also be the best rapper, but Lil wayne got that fire and he already know he the best...
Kanye west is hiphop and he ain't better then Jay-Z.

Tupac is definitely at "legend status" as you put it, and he did a lot for the rap industry, but personally I find him a bit boring. Strange that you bring up Jay-Z, as I never said that KanYe was better than him, and I definitely hold Jay-Z in higher esteem (he's one of my favourites) but seriously if you listen to Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt album or Nas's Illmatic, you'd know how wrong you are about Lil Wayne being the best.
