Could have been achieved by using ONE image (the background) and CSS Opacity D:

CSS opacity sucks

Uses 7 unique images, none of which (bar the bg image) is over 2.9kb

Not much difference really, eh?

Why is it coded in tables?

Why is it coded in tables?

Cause I think div's are crap so I use tables, and a compatibility issue with tablets I think (my friend told me it had a compatibility issue with something, so I use tables)

Well table-coding is wrong.

If you code properly, it's compatible all around.

Errm.. sure. Tablets run the same browser software, so it it messed up on tablets it would mess up on PCs, Laptops etc. I think its just a excuse because you can't actually code it in DIVs.

Table's should only be used to display organised data such as summaries like prizes or something.

Div's never form any issues with any browser IF coded correctly and valid.
Using div's is also a more professional way to code a visual layout.

If I don't look at the coding, the layout looks nice, I like the see-trough boxes etc.

So my suggestions would be;

Maybe try and recode it using Div's or let it get recoded by a professional, although that option might cost you quite a bit.
Maybe look for a small background which can be repeated as current background is a desktop wallpaper and takes quite some time to load. And I can asume people using dial-up connections it would take ages.
Maybe add some Css set link style's, as the standard blue/underlined links are a bit hard to see.

Good Luck with it ;)

Funny thing dan i did read it, and as i said could of been done easily with div's and i really doubt it screws up in tablets and who would be using your site on a tablet anyway.
