Good Luck in WHsmith, But at 15 major jobs are very minimum, Maybe work at a shopping store? Maybe your local sweet shop. When I was 13 I worked in a newsagent cleaning up the outside and the shop and putting food on the counter and milk in the fridge I left when I was 14 as I moved, but anyway good luck.

If WH Smiths is hiring 15 year olds, then I would try there but if you don't get any luck I think the only other places that would hire you are your local shop or maybe the supermarket for shelf stacking and what not.

music shops do tend to hire the more younger people. for their music taste that can relate to customers. normally the min age for a proper job is 15 & 3 months.

If your areas anywhere like mine, you'll be lucky to get a job. Me and my mates can't anywhere. (16 with good GCSE results). There is literally no decent part-time jobs going around my area.

being honest round where i live your only likely to get a job in a ice cream booth or something, lol. most "proper companies" dont tend to employ staff that young. however if you have a relative who works for e.g WH smith or somewhere like that then you might have a chance, otherwise i doubt it..

You can only legally get a part time job when you get your National Insurance (NI) Card. You usually get that a few months before your 16th Birthday, so although WHSmith may say the accept 15 year olds, you have to have your NI Card.
Edit: Actually scrap that, I had a bit of research and I found this from someone;
I'm 15, i work in sports world...if u want to work when you are under 16 you need to get an employment liscence form from your school or local concil then your school, parents and the company you are going to work for has to sign it then its sent off and you have to wait to see if u get a liscence

its really slim pickins where i live, most places that hire 14 year olds are looking for them to lug heavy crap around the shop and clean up, and expect to get payed pennies, thats how i quit my last job. my mate delivers papers but sells pirate dvds from the paper bag :P we all went round with him once, called ourselves the knock off nigels =D
he gets pretty good money from that, and its generally low risk...

it's such a pain. i'm 15 and i'd be happy to slave away in a clothes shop or something for some money but you have to be 16 or 18+ pretty much everywhere. i'm not doing a paper round either.

I've had a reply from ASDA saying they dont hire anyone under 18 in the local store, bummer. H&M saying if they have any job opens check the website. [: And then Topman saying recuritment day is blah

You can work at Sainsburys if you are 16, like ASDA. But with ASDA you cant work at the till, whereas with Sainsburys you can. If anyone comes to your till to buy alcohol, you ring the bell and do their other items, until another staff member comes and rings it up for you.
And with Sainsburys the wages are good. Im 16 and get £4.20 an hour which is almost a pound over minimum wage :D
