The Habbox News team will be opening their long term event for the Habbox Summer Spectacular today; in which you get the chance to have your work published directly on the Habbox News pages, and possibly even be offered an actual position with the News Reporters.
Applications for this competition will open today for 24 hours only, and I will select 5 talented individuals who will then have the opportunity to receive three articles of news, published on the Habbox News pages.
Once each contestant has three articles published, the Habbo(x) public will vote in a public poll on Habbox.com to vote for which contestant they feel has the most talent as a News Reporter. The contestants with the top three numbers of votes will win points for their respective teams in the following increments:
1st - 100 points
2nd - 65 points
3rd - 35 points
The applications will close tomorrow at 11:30am and the contestants will be revealed shortly afterwards.
The Habbox Summer Spectacular co-ordination team reserves the right to disqualify contestants or deny participation to any member they feel cannot be trusted with the competition requirements.

The five best news report examples will progress into the full competition and will then be put head to head for the votes of the public.
