:( Im a Ginger and everyone in my family says i have gorgeous urban hair, but at school i get teased and picked on people say i have ginger Pewbs, and im ketchup head and i get really upset, I was once evan thinking of dieng my hair because i got so upset but mom says to ignore them, but i cant i try and stand up to people and say im proud of my hair, but they say they say i have nothing to be proud of, What is the matter with red hair ?

Nothing is wrong with ginger hair, if you like your hair, then it shouldn't matter if others don't.

If they call you ginger just say 'And your point is...', those kind of people annoy me, what do they have to be proud of, just laugh at them, the idiots.

There's nothing wrong with ginger hair, I'm not sure why people think of you differently if you have it. It's totally stupid, there's the same amount of difference between a brunette and a ginger as there is between a brunette and a blonde.. It's just one of those things everyone seems to think badly of and make jokes about; like Kardan said, try to ignore it, but if they go further and don't let you ignore it that really is sad.. they are just using it as an excuse to pick on people.

I get teased about my polish surname allll the time, by some pathetic boys at school, I know it's hard to ignore what they say, but you need to realise your the better one, and they are stupid.

All the things you mentioned here, are really just subjects immature idiots find to bully you about. The trouble is, a lot of kids bully others to find a place among their peers (friends, for want of a worse word) and to impose themselves above others. School is a vile breeding ground for anti-social behaviour, unfortunately. But please, please don't let it get you down.

1. Women are smaller than men - there is a saying: The best things come in small packages. So if you are shorter than most women, concentrate on something that you can affect - the inner you. Real beauty comes from the inside, and when it's genuine, it shines through - don't let school dim it.

2. Chest size - when you are an adult, it doesn't matter, except to shallow men, and any woman worth anything can do without them.

3. Fingers/hands - Nothing at all wrong with small hands on a woman - a good thing, as men have big hands, and I bet you'd be teased for that.

4. Middle name - I have a stupid middle name, but when you leave school it never matters and no-one ever teased me about it again. In fact it came into fashion years later! My first name also got ridiculed and that too now is popular.

5. Idiot boy - We can do without them, and he did you a favour, really! You will look back and laugh at this later in life. You will find someone much better than that idiot. ;)

6. Old friend - What a real loser! Must have done that to try to fit in with another clique of morons. That's the sort of 'friend' you can do without. A real friend would lay down their life for you. Forget her.

7. Fashion sense - Hey, we all make gaffs. Even as grown-ups. Don't get a hang-up on this one. I am too embarrassed to tell you what I used to wear! I'm sure everyone has been here... LOL

8. Glasses - spectacles on women can be very attractive,

And, red hair IS attractive, just as blond hair is - each person is attracted to different things, it's what makes us, us. Again, we are all different.

A bullies life is at school, so when they leave school at 16/whatever, they do get a life... A shame they can't leave earlier...

Lol, Im very weird. My mums half sweedish and half malaysian and my Dad is half Welsh and half Italian. (Yes im 1 and a half people!) i have white blonde hair, massive blue eyes and ginger freckles. Lol, I used to get called barbie or dolly alot cos apparently i look like a doll. Hm people are weird. At my first school this guy used to call me blonde bimbo and whitey and stuff but he also used to call me ginga and then as my dad is quite dark skinned, when people seen him, they said i was the milkmans... Aaah! Ive never exactly been bullied but people always make comments lol. And my eyes freak people out (Apparently i never blink...) Im very short aswell. Soo um i often get referd to as the short blonde one with the big mouth. When i was in primary i used to get called scatty. I used to live in a block of counsil flats and alot of the kids who lived ther went to my school and we all got referred to as Billys... Even by the teachers. Lol, lived in the Billy banks. But like, everyone was scared of us so we didnt get much jip ;]. If people say stuff like this to me i just laugh, it dont bother me, lol! I hate seeing others get bullied. I stick up for everyone... I have auburn hair.. which is a brownish shade of red. I used to get teased a little bit and I just say either...
. 'Huh what's red hair?'

[This would really get them annoyed, and they'd go I SAID YoU HAVE RED HAIR and i'd continue to say So. Eventually they got bored.


Another thing is I know exactly how you feel. I probably sound like a parent right now, telling their kid to ignore the bully, but I know its not that easy...
My mom used to say 'Their just jealous!' but I knew for a fact they weren't. Something you could try, is acting like You like being teased. Lol its not as bad as it sounds listen:

Don't worry. I know exactly how you feel. I get through it though, with the help of my friends. Kids eventually get tired of teasing you because of it after a while. i've been with the same bunch of kids for like 3 years now and their used to the fact i have auburn hair.
