bullying. - how it may have effected you

im doing a topic in school about bullying in Britain's society today, and i'm focusing on teenagers and younger children. i have to find primary and secondary research blah de blah and i was wondering if anyone has any stories about bullying that they care to share with me for help on this piece of work. it's going towards my gcse in humanties and it would be really useful to hear some stories about how people got over the bullying situation and how it effected their learning.

Well I've had 5 concusions from bullying. and i've also had testicular cancer from it.

because of it i missed 4months of school and began faking being sick, it affected my grades this year. Also now i have low confidence and dont go as much as i would.

i know someone that got testicular cancer from being kicked in the nuts and he had to have his testical removed

well, saying that. it might not have actually been testicular cancer but he got soemthing nasty and had to have it removed lol

I generally ignored people who were shouting names at me. I can't remember what dumb things they shouted, I ignored after the first few seconds. I seemed to of fought back I believe.

You cannot be 'given' testicular cancer in any way. What a load of trash lol

It is delevoped in the victim naturally.. although it can be triggered by radiation. If you are kicked in the testicles around the same time that your cancer is discovered, then you're an extremely unlucky person. :)

i've missed out on two years of education because of it.
i'm in a better school now though. much better.
i've just learned to laugh it off, i mean, if you bully, it must mean you lead a pretty low life if you think making fun of others is hilarious? nah. just nah.
though, they got pretty scared when i ended up fighting back.

I have been buillyied at every school I go to just because I am diffrent, I have autism and adhd.I have now refused to go back to school because
of my life there when I did go.I relized I had a choice, I could decide if I want to go or not.When I went to school I was unhappy all the time and now I am happy.So if you meet someone with autism don't bully them be there freind instead.It has inffected me in alot of ways such as:

ive been bullied i use to get hit. teased etc. tbh teachers dont to as much as they should they moved me from my form when THEY should have been moved when i was getting bullied i considered suicide self harm and it was just the worst time of my life really.

but its better now i made new friends and we sorted them out ourself.

The 2 Schools Ive Been To Ive Been Bullied. I Got Sick Of It So i Stopped Going For About 2 Years. I Have Like 1 Friend But Hes A Good Friend. He Gets In Trouble Alot And I Dont Go To School Much. Perfect Match Eh? Anyways Its Annoying And My Mom Didnt Do Anything About It ;/ Neither Did The Teachers. I used to get bullied quite a bit when I was younger, but as I went through years 10 and 11, I started using sly sarcasm to catch the bullies out which I found to be quite effective and still use it against those who think they can bully me today

Even if that is true, only a small percentage of the many many nerds can be bosses, and it's most likely that, sorry, you'll still be working for someone else because you won't get there fast enough. Computer programmer? So is every other kid going through uni at the moment, and by the time all the kids who think they're gonna be millionaire programmers get there, all the people who are at uni now will have already got all the high job positions that are needed at the moment.

Also note how the bigger bullies (as in, the physical bullies not psychological ones) are likely to get into jobs like construction and engineering, which are far higher paid than most programming jobs or self run computer businesses.

Bullies choose victims who are too weak to do anything about it, and for that reason you will not be strong enough to lead no matter what your computer knowledge.

Myself, I'm the clever kind of bully - if you care to class me as such. I don't hit kids for being smaller than me, but I can play with the mind. I can make people do things. I can make or break a person socially and mentally. I am a true leader because I have the capability to lead and inspire. I also know that even if I do end up working for a "nerd" that I know (not that I usually go for nerds anyway), I will have workers rights to stop them from being able to do jack to me.
