Howdy doody! I am the hobba Elki on the .co.uk and having come back after two weeks I was very upset to see a lot of people commenting on posts that habboxforum'ers have posted.
Firstly by Seacat. That screenshot WAS real (for those who said it wasn't) but it was badly phrased. I was asking my friends to make up a password and username for the cutenews account, which is used by the majority of fansites for making a newsfeed (www.habbonet.co.uk/cutenews for example).
I also sent multiple messages AFTERWARDS to EVERYONE after realising I had poorly phrased it. I am a dedicated hobba and dedicated to providing online safety, education and events and for those who know me know I would never steal of anyone, and I am very aware, so I do not get hacked. I put a lot of effort into the community and so felt that this was a kick in the teeth. Seacat is a good friend and he knew I wouldn't have done something so stupid.
I do want to apologise for the bad phrasing of the 'ad'. I hope that habbos on the forum who have not yet met me will not form such a slanderous opinion of me please.
The second one was from a post by anacanican. Which was totally bizarre.
earlier today we were all talking about sonicmouse. a hobba came in( not mentioning any names. ELKI! and when questioned about the hacking he kicked all of us and deleted the room. this shows you habbo are even scared and soon theyll probably be banning for talking about it.
This is completely ludicrous! I do not want to spill confidentiality- but I have no power to close the room anancanican and for those who know me also I promote freedom of speech, providing no-one oversteps the mark. I am also not a super hobba and so cannot mass kick the room.
I would ask that you get your facts before posting slanderous comments.
I do not usually go on forums, I am on one forum and only visit it to answer any questions about habbo people have. I am a valued member of the habbo community, I believe in freedom of speech, and I rally round in my spare time with loads of events.
The hobba website (www.hobbateam.co.uk) was an idea I had to promote saftey awareness and provide answers to questions many people ask but we have no way of telling them through text, so I have incorporated images, etc.
I hope I have eased some peoples minds. I still love you all and hope you love me lol :D
Thanks,
Elki.
