go to the mine south of the city go inside the mine and talk to the guy in
between two rocks wearing a red hardhat at the south half of the mine. This is the Oreburgh Gym Leader,Roark. After he uses Rock Smash on one of the rocks, he will invite you to battle him in the gym.

Gym leaders Pokemon:
Geodude (Level 12 / Defense Curl, Mud Sport, Rock Throw,StealthRock )
Onix (Level 12 / Tackle, Rock Throw, Screech, Stealth Rock)
Cranidos (Level 14 / Headbutt, Leer, Pursuit, Stealth Rock)

Your RIVAL will show another pokemon, his starter. Quite a few trainers here.
Make your way through the route getting some XP. Abra is available in the
grass. If you want one, you have to throw the pokeball immediately as it will
run away if you try to battle it. When you get to the end, there is a cave
entrance. The trainer south of the cave entrance has a Machop for your pokedex.
The cave has a couple trainers inside and also nets you an HM. It is a small
cave and exits in Oreburgh City. The last trainer shows you a Psyduck if you
didn't find one earlier.

i have a monferno as my strongst pet, i like him cause he's on the advert :D
im trying to get my zorbat, to be like a level 10 (level 8 now) before i do anything!

got him, he showed me how to do rock smash :) now im trying to get out of the cave and im been attacked by millions of geodude's :o its quit cool that they have used some of the pokemon from the red version :)

Yeh they do, you will get an exp share stone soon, if you give that to a pokemon to hold, it will also get some experience points which will help it grow stronger without it battling

Here is a tip:

Talk to people.

They tell you where people are etc. I think he was in a cave OR| the gym, can't remember. Sorry :)

to get the bike, you have to save this guys pokemon from team g.

You have to save the bike guy from team galactic. There should be a building with two trees infront of it. cut one of them and go in and beat team galactic then the man will offer you a bike
