How do you make your templates?

Photoshop CS2 for designing & slicing, then note pad for coding.

Flash 8 and Dreamweaver CS3. Flash CS3 is horrible.

Design in Fireworks, then sometimes put it into Photoshop to add some stuff.

Then I save as png and slice in paint, then code in Dreamweaver

I've always used paint for my layouts.

I'll give you a very simple tut, Open up photoshop , create a new canvas , select the rounded box tools , create several boxes , colour them in , create a new layer and add some images

Anyway Notepad++ is a version of Notepad with syntax highlighting :)
