mmmm - I think you need to tell some users what a blog is.

A blog isnt "comment bk" or "hiaaaaaaaaa lol" - the idea of a blog is to tell people about your interest, work/play, your day, something that has bugged you or something thats funny (in other words a diary).

I think blogs should be for quality blogging - not chitchat.

So maybe tell the users that are basicly spamming the blogs system with crap; you should send them a PM explaining what a blog is.

I dont want to discredit the people who are using the blog system well and writing interesting stuff <3

I don't really find a blog useful when I can just post stuff about my day on the forum itself.

I think it's a great feature and I agree that it needs some rules as it's getting spammed atm. I'm sure it will die down, it's just people checking it out.

There will be rules set up in addition to the current forum rules that are specifically for the blogging side of Hxf. The reason we allowed people to post whatever in the blog section is so they could test it out etc :).

Personally I believe that you should have the blog more like Neowins, or perhaps a dimmed down and free version of Sitepoints.

Exaclty the 'spam' forum and 'discuss anything' was the "blog sections" tbh.
