Hey Everyone,
Although you may not have heard much about it in the recent months there will in fact be a Radio DJ Panel v4!
I have been working on it over the summer and am hoping to be releasing it sometime in late September if all goes as planned. It includes all kinds of new features and a brand new look to boot. You will be able to purchase paid addons that will turn the panel into an entire CMS if you so wish!
So enough said, here's the preview poster that I've made up for you to gawk at ;)

If you wish to view the Panel in action (the frontend/login at least) then you can visit my site at; http://quickscriptz.ca/djpanel4/ (http://quickscriptz.ca/djpanel4/).
Please feel free to leave replies and let me know what you think! Thanks!

First of all thanks for everyone's opinions! I've repped everyone who I could! And as for some questions/comments/concers...

Well depends what you mean by "Open-Source". If you mean the type of opensource that is described in this Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opensource), then no (for instance Firefox is opensource - community driven and is largely built by its community). But all the files that are not related to license checks will be readily available to all. So basically I'm only protecting the parts that communicate with my servers and manage your Panel's license, protecting my investment if you will. I haven't decided how though yet, I might just use a lot of functions and classes to make it difficult to decipher, or I might end up using some sort of encryption - same as last time.

Now just curious, but what does PowerPanel do that RDJP doesn't when it comes to vBulletin integration? If you mean the encryption then yes, fine, I get what you're saying - but if you're just talking functionality I'm confused... wanna get back to me on that one?
So thats about it I think for now... just a sidenote that all copies of v4 will require a license (be it free or otherwise) that can be obtained from my sites new "Update Area". From there you will be able to manage your licenses and change the details of your license if you change/move servers. Note that obtaining a license won't require approval or anything just a name of the license holder and what/where they plan to use it.
So ya... more updates as the panel develops!

Cool coooool.
Looking quite nice, I liked the loading bar at first glance as it actually gave it an AJAX/Web 2.0 (Yeah I lol'd too) Feeling. But yeah, works well.
Oh and by the way when he said it has vB Intergration there is a vB Plugin in POWERpanel which adds features to your Forum :P

Haha... ya the whole loading bar went down the drain pretty fast when I couldn't figure out;
a) How to do it with an actual real-time loader bar
and more importantly...
b) Why I should make you wait just to pre-load some silly images
So I just ended up going with the fun little circly image :P
And for this Panel I wasn't really aiming for Web 2.0, but for a more professional and clean design/look as this Panel will be eventually be expanded into a type of Site Management System of sorts... so ya!
Oh, and where might I find a copy of this vB plugin (and of the latest PP)? I wouldn't mind trying it out, and it nevers hurts to check out the competition ;)
+Rep for reply!

Thanks for the positive input! But what exactly do you mean by "the advertisement though the scan lines"? I didn't quite get that...

Yup, GoldenMerc is infact correct. The core panel will be free but you will be able to purchase addons and other versions that will allow for more or special functionality.
EDIT: As for the scan lines as Sygon refers to them, there are not actually any stripes within the panel itself - I just liked the effect for the promo image ;)
+Rep where possible :)
