Right, I've had this for agess, over 4 years.
Whenever I think of something, like returning back to school, or when Im having a shower and close my eyes, and think whether theres a ghost near me (dnt laugh =P) my heart starts to beat a lot. And it's not only for that, It's for minor things aswell. Just thinking of going back to school makes my heart beat fast.

Take note, my dad, and his dad have had heart problems. My dad alone has had two heart attacks.

im like that sometimes. i went to the doctors and he gave me propranolol to slow the heart beat down, but obviously it shouldnt be taken too often as you dont want to be living off tablets for the rest of your life or w.e

but yh, go to your doctors and he/she will give you more info, way more than teenagers of a forum can do.

I actually think this could be anxiety and/or paranoia.

Go to the doctors and tell him/her this.

You could have a heart flutter. But yeah, really, if it runs in the family I'd get checked out.

Lmao you don't need to see a doctor!

All it is is when you don't like something ie. School and then you start getting paranoid when it gets closer and closer to the day you go back.

My heart beats fast when I close my eyes in the shower and also my heart beats fast when I'm sitting on the floor in my house and thinking about spiders :P

Because 1 person agreed with you, you must be right? 5 people have said see a doctor. I would still see one regardless. Just because of the heart problems in your family.

It could be a geneticaly inherited problem? :S

Can heart and blood vessel disease be inherited?

Yes. A tendency toward heart disease or fatty buildups in arteries seems to be hereditary. That means children of parents with heart and blood vessel diseases may be more likely to develop them. Race is also a factor.
