Ziggy said the N word [same word as Emily used] And BB just edited the whole thing out to avoid another race row. Surely it is unfair on Emily, she was booted out and Ziggy wasnt.

On Thursday, Ziggy was drinking with his fellow Housemates, when he quoted a lyric of rap icon 50 Cent. the term Ziggy said was: “trigger n-word”

Immediately Ziggy was called into the Diary Room and cautioned by Big Brother, who warned the former boyband singer that his position in the House would be terminated if another instance occurred.

Following this, Ziggy immediately apologised to fellow Housemate and eventual winner of the series, Brian Belo. Brian, who was present when Ziggy quoted the lyric, told Ziggy not to worry, explaining: "We've lived with each other for 11 weeks and I know you're not like that."

A spokesman told the Sunday Mirror: "Channel 4 acted swiftly and appropriately to tell Ziggy that racially offensive language would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Ziggy was told that any further transgression would mean his immediate eviction.

"We gave careful consideration to the context of Ziggy's offence. Ziggy was repeating a lyric from a song and his words were not directed at anyone. Nobody in the house was offended and the incident was not broadcast, so no offence was caused to viewers."

Ziggy confirmed: "I apologised to Big Brother. It was purely lyrics from a song. It was never my intention to cause offence to anybody."

He was singing a song, Emily actually pretended to be a black person and said it.

They only did it so they didn't lose money. If they'd evicted Ziggy they'd have to give a refund to everyone who'd voted for him to win because the lines were already open

Channel 4 dont make a profit from voting this year. Also, when Emily was ejected for using it, they offered full refunds for people who were already voting to vote out Emily and Shabnam. So they would have done if they thought it necessary.

And the situation Ziggy said it in differed from Emilys use completly. Thats why he wasnt ejected.

I didn't know C4 weren't making profit? What are they doing with the money then?

Calls are only 25p, 10p goes to charity, and I assume the rest goes towards running the house and building work. Never will they get more money than it cost to build and maintain the house.

bit harsh that emily was unfairly treated. and you would think the others would have had the intelligence not to say it after what happened to her- on second thoughts, maybe not.

emily wasnt unfairly treated. ziggy was. if she said it she deserves to get kicked out. no matter what content you use it in its still a racist word. he said it so he should've also been kicked out.

maybe they blanked it out because after it no-one was talking about it but when emily said it they talked about it, and maybe something "interesting" happened whilst they were talking about it.
