In addition to the posts above, "News" can also refer to anything that may affect or interest a reasonable amount of people.
For example, if a well known Habbo gets banned / hacked, or if a well known Guest Room gets trashed / closed or anything else like that, this counts as news because a reasonable amount of people may be interested.
The status of the Habbo or room is irrelevant - if they are well known then it can be posted about :).

and tbh idc bout skaterchu never done anything for me to make him so well known, all i've heard is "skaterchu is a such a *****" "skaterchu this" "skaterchu that". and don't say you get this all the time because the people I talk to properly on habbo and not on a forum actually like me.
2 people have actually either come and seen me to talk to or we made up from something in habbo, because they know im a nice person
anyway moving on.

I honestly don't get MODs etc..
They only ban the 'well known' habbos for stuff like harassment..
For example, if I was being harassed by someone, I would get told to use the 'Shut Up' button.
But, if it's someone everyone knows, it's totally different..
