Not really, it gives you more control too. Better style than cPanel. People say cPanel is better, though they never used Plesk. So this poll wont work out for the most bit.

I've used plesk, it's easy to use just the DNS

Well to add a new domain on Plesk you hit Domain Aliases
on cPanel you hit Parked Domain.

So they're both equal on that part.

As for the real DNS editing Plesk has one, like Domain Registrars would provide strangly. I've never tried to edit advanced DNS settings in cPanel. I've went to the demo and you apparently can not. So what do you mean DNS is harder in Plesk?

Plesk is well great, it's easier to setup alot of things, for example, File managing is easier as you dont have to open loads of windows just to upload a few files, when you upload .zip folders you can extract it while uploading, you can also edit your DNS Settings on Plesk which is a very useful tool, everything on Plesk is layed out better and not all cramped together Like cPanel...
cPanel was the past... Plesk is the future!

I agree 100%. Plesk's filemanager actually looks like the same skin as the main panel too :).

Though cPanel also has the zip feature. cPanel is the Plesk of linux and Plesk is the cPanel of windows.

Yeah, or Webmin. Lmao some webhost. BranHost uses Webmin and they say it's better than cPanel and Plesk because it is 'free'. But to buyers every panel is free. No way in may is Webmin better.

The only reason I prefer Cpanel over plesk, is because I haven't used plesk. If you're feeling up to it, why not make your own. I've been a numeral of hosts which now use custom made panels. One of which was easier than CPanel, plus it included AJAX. But yeah, The desicion of which you will use at the end of the day is down to you, although you will have many debations on which is better than the other.

To be honest, I don't really think much of panels, they're there for a reason: to upload files (in my eyes). In other perspectives it may be other reasons.

Good luck in choosing which one, because I have seen many threads on which panel to use, and the two common were CPanel and Plesk.

If you've never used one and are not bothered to go find a demo don't vote. This vote is already unfair.

Lol. This isn't like Windows and OS X. If you try both Windows will be better.

But with cPanel and Plesk if you use them both they're both the sameish!

In your post, you asked which one you prefered, and since you are wanting our view, I thought it would be good if you liked our input to extend your "research". You can't just disregard results that have appeared more than once. Plesk may not be as a popular of a choice than CPanel. I think that made sence, sorry for the kinda, muble wording.

Cpanel, Stay away from Plesk, Not worth the hassel.

Hope i helped.
