They didnt renew the domain and some search enginge thingie bought it, anyway, i thought bobbanet closed ages ago?

They got rid of the http://www.bobbanet.com domain around a year ago I believe. I think it's called a parked domain, and they make money from ad's when you go on it, so don't go on it, just take our word for it :P

They now go by the domain of http://www.bobbanet.co.uk which has been down for around 3-4 weeks :(

Yeah I could talk to q25 about this but really, I think bobbanet is dead in much aspects. Schleaze doesn't have the time for it anymore and ever since SEC left it's sorta been going downhill.

Personally I don't think they will, as they don't really need too. There's still plenty of official radio's, forums, content, news around, I could understand them opening if all the radio's has shut down etc, but there's no need to atm.

yeah but see thats the thing, we get all these amazing websites which will only last for a certain ammount of months or they could take the thinkhabbo way and close, re-open, close, re-open and finally close

I think they will open apps soon. Its not fair on other up and coming fansites that they cant become official because the official spaces are being taken up by sites that dont exist

Several fansites are down at the moment because they are hosted by mine and Archivist's private hosting organisation called DuoSystems.

We've been forced to move servers a couple of days ago and have encountered a few issues during the transfer.

We're hoping to have them fixed within the next few days (a lot are coming back today/tomorrow) so thats one of the reasons why some sites are down! :)

I agree somewhat. I think there are a few fansites that should be removed but not loads. The only ones I think MAYBE should be removed is AllHabbo (I don't think it's official fansite material plus the original owner doesn't even work there anymore - it was sold) and TheHabbos.

Sites like Bobbanet and HabboPaper shouldn't be just removed as they deserve more than that. They have been providing an excellent service for more than 5 YEARS, I think they deserve a bit of downtime, no? Also, I know for a *fact* Habbo-Paper will be up soon...in one way or another ;) *hehe*
