England have lost Ravi Bopara for six weeks and Chris Tremlett for the sixth game. Andrew Flintoff, meanwhile, has a recurrence of pain in his ankle, that same fateful left ankle, and is consulting the surgeon who operated on him in May. He is, according to chairman of selectors David Graveney, "not ruled out of tomorrow's game" but "not a certainty for the Twenty20". That's a contender for the riddle of the summer.

India have had their share of mass flu afflictions - first in Belfast and then in Bristol - and their fast bowlers must be aching at the joints. Zaheer Khan and RP Singh are twenty away from completing the 450-over mark on the tour while Munaf Patel appears to be fit one moment and unfit the next. It's no wonder that Rahul Dravid uses "as of now" while talking about the availability of his players.

I am hoping India win tomorrow - not only because I support them, but it will hopefully make the final match on friday interesting.

Damn I will be at college tomorrow :'( -Wishes it was a day and night match-

Great game. Especially seeing Mascarehnas hit 5 sixes in a row. Great knock from Shah and Luke Wright getting 50 on his debut. Thought 316 would be enough like, but India batted very well (Tendulkar with a great 94) and some of England's bowling and fielding was awful when everyone needed to be alert and accurate. Well played to India though and it'll be a thrilling decider at Lord's :D.

One of the best matches I have ever seen. Poor fielding by the English. Also, silly run outs which cost them. This series has been awesome so far. Can't wait till Saturday.

Chak De India and bye bye England.

Didn't see any of the England innings & didn't see the beginning or end of India's, but from what I did see, Tendulkar was yet again unlucky not to reach a century!

Anderson bowled well in the 47th over, but was still expensive.. he didn't do enough change, in my opinion. And well done for Broads 48th over, that was a goooood over.. Wicket Maiden!

Shame Sidebottom probably won't get a look in, we need the variation of a left arm seamer, and he can slog a ball quite far too. Depending on the pitch, i'd consider dropping Monty for the next match. The 1 problem with that though, we'll go over the time limit!

Oh who'd want to be an England selector..

You need a spinner on your team. Dropping Monty wont do England any good.
Anderson is usually expensive, but takes wicket (apart from yesterday).
Tendulkar was going to retire after the England series, but his family and friends said its better to retire in India after the India - Pak - Australia series this year.
