It's going to be on BBC3 this sunday at 9pm..
I really do advise people to watch it, should give a fascinating view for people as not many lads develop an eating disorder in their lifetime.
I know people on the forum (including myself) who have had/currently have an eating disorder would be really interested in watching it.
im gonna watch it for a laugh i love BBC3 watch it every night brilliant programmes not to sure about mighty boosh though :P

Yeah, it's a big deal for everyone.
it's not a big deal for a guy to be anorexic....
I was thinking that x). It's a lot less likely for a male than for a female but not like it's a super-rare issue.

Aren't there some idotic people on this forum?
You know what..? I still have anorexia and I don't really find it funny.
I'm trying to tell people about a television show which finally focuses on boys with anorexia, which is rare. It's also the first television show to talk about boys with an eating disorder (As they tend to talk about girls).
Anorexia isn't a laugh, it's affected everything in my life. Iv'e had to redo my last year (I also happen to be in the same year as my brother). I spent 10 months in hospital (Eight of those in a psyciatric unit and the other two in the childrens hospital). Iv'e had tubes, wires around my body.. and now I have weaker organs due to my anorexia. I'm not as good at sports (My main way of socialising) and I also can't do too much physical activity a week (To maintain my weight). My relationship with other family members isn't as good and closer family members observe my food intake vigorously.
Not funny now isn't it? I need to think some people on here need to grow up..

Im definately watching this, I find it really intresting how anorexia has formed. Its sad really being able to see peoples bones. Anorexia in men doesnt get much media coverage as the "Iconic Anorexics" are women. However anorexia in men is becoming more common as times passing, which is pretty frightening.

Men are getting anorexia more to fit in with the women as there "slimer" though i guess were "not as cool" to get media coverage. ):

Thats not totally true. Some people do it for fun. I had a group of friends (me included) a few years ago and we would play the starving game, then it got way out of control, I was underweight and if I didn't gaining weight they were gunna put me in the hospital with a feeding tube and force me to eat. I ended up gaining some of it back to keep the doctors happy, but I never returned to my old size?
