Alterations competitions are now mixed in with the regular ones every now and then, as there's not enough of a demand for them to justify having a full subforum dedicated to them.

Well i think we should hold a story competion about habbo hotel e.t.c you choose any place in the public rooms and some habbo characters and you make a story,and wene your finshed you can send it of to habbo hotel or you can email it to them,so that it will give people time.Also i think the prize should be a big treat box with good rares,credz and some norms,if you post that prize people will be giving in there stories so quick and also people who dont like to write stories and stuff they probley would have fun writting it lol.:rolleyes_

Idea: - How about a competition where you have to dress and post a screenie of your habbo on a theme of HOBJOB's choice. It is a little bit like cozzie exchange but you can use graphic programs (if user has any) to help modify the screenie.

i would like to see a comp with a really valuable prize, but maybe make the comp go on for a few months or something to get loads of people playing it then have something like a throne for prize.

Prizes are limited nnader so we can't give away massive prizes else we couldn't run any other smaller competitions. We do try to aim to give atleast 4 HC Sofas for each competition unless it is something simple like entering one line of text. We do have an event coming up this summer that could be what you're looking for though, so watch out!

OrangeMobile, it's a great idea and it's been discussed just a few weeks ago so something to your taste will be arriving soon!

Justme, We did a Summmer Habbo Icon a while ago so we won't be doing that again. By best homepage, it's really just whose the richest and likes to spend credits on their homepage.

the only thing i can think of would be a type of poem compitition. most teens like to write poems now adays and "if by some slim chance" this idea goes through i can help in someway i dont know how yet. we can pick the 3-5 best poems and seperate them into a thread of their own to let people vote on (limit 1 vote per person) and the best one wins something. tell me what u think H0BJOB :P or has someone already beat me to the idea?

I like your idea but..

In competitions we post the competition and then people reply with their entry's. At the end of the competition, the creater of the comeptition then picks the winner(s) and the competition manager awards them with their prize. There wouldn't be any actual need for the whole voting process.

A good comepetition would be where you have to look at a page of Habbo furni that someone has made and decide which furni is real and which furni is fake. Although this might sound like an easy thing to do, you would be suprised from the amount of people that don't know the first thing about supers or most rares. Just like recolourings of some furni or rares that look similiar to existing rares. :)

Although i enjoy doing comps ON Habbo why dont we do one where we get active :) Since Habboxlive.com Has the best music around why dont we all have a go at making routines of any type of dance (Hip-Hop Ballet) Anything you like and record it and send it in or upload it?
It would be a good chance for people to win - And not rely on Lagg:)

Firstly, i'd like to clarify that the Competitions Department doesn't do competitions on Habbo. That is the Events Department's job. Your idea of the dance routine I assume is in real life. Not only do we not want everyone releasing videos of themselves over the web but the file sizes would also be extremely big and so consequently, I think this idea is virtually impossible. If this isn't what you meant, please do reply clearing up your idea.

also things like best dressed that would be a good 1 every month theres a different theme and then the best 1 wins a prize

I have noticed alot of new games arriving to Habbo. As well seeing some of the original ones.

I was thinking after seeing a few games around the hotel that maybe Habbox could host a Wabble Squabble competition. Bring back some of the old school roots of habbo.

When you are doing it you should type the accosiation, (eg.) Say you said sun but the word before was flower, you would have to put the accosiation you made (sun flower)

You should do a competitition where all of you staff play and we as the Habbox public have to choose who we think will win and then whoever chooses the winning staff member gets a prize. You could do loads of fun games where we can al come and watch!

I don't know if this has already been suggested, but it is radio based instead of forum based. Like you could have a song writing competition, you write a song then you sing it then send it in and the winner, or Top 3 get's theirs played on the radio (with their permission).

As for the poem bit, we do have poetry competitions now & then (we had one at Easter) but we can't do poetry competitions ALL the time as it will get boring. But I do like your idea about the HabboxLive Based Poem. I will take that into consideration ;) As for the jingle part, its not really our type again its more of a HabboxLive comp. So PM ,Jess, (Radio Manager) and see if she likes it :)

Heres an idea: run a set of Original games like pod racing falling furni & cozzie change. in one big marathon type thing. & the person with the most points at the end wins 2hcs & the person who comes 2nd gets a silver trophy. each game winner top ponts is 50 2nd place 40 & 3rd place 25 so eg. last 3people on there pods & someone looses he comes 3rd with 25 points & you keep track of our score & you use the forum to enter the competition 15 - 25 entries max. :)
