Splur Studios - A New Website Version!

I am pleased to announce that me and my team have launched the brand new Splur Studios website! We are currently looking for some more staff, so make sure you check out the 'jobs' page. You can check out the new website here;

06, there is no examples because as stated, we offer alot of services and we can not upload all those examples. On request, if a customer asks for examples we can show.

Link, sorry to say we do not do pixel art, as stated on our graphic design page. Also to add, I am the youngest in the team, but age really has nothing to do with it.

Well I was going for a pixel design but no matter, I think people charge more for pixel designing rather then normal designing.

Would it be possible if you can upload about 2/4 examples as I may be interested.
Can you do a music design for a music band? Or a personal blog some designs which are what I stated above.

Also do you have any history on these forums?

We have no staff members we deal with pixel art. We can do music design for a music band, and we could even do the promotional goods for a band and we do blog designs as that comes under website design.

Examples are shown to the customer once we are in talks, in private. You will all see my one of my online magazines launched Thursday, so you will be able to see the magazine design side of things.

Umm, that worries me. Unless someone sneaks onto my computer, plugs in my external HDD, steals the photos and then puts them onto the net...

These are all my own photographs and I can tell you where everyone was taken.

The website was not coded, because my coders were on holiday and I needed a new website out for the release of MMOCCMonthly, therefore I made it out of images.

As Simon stated, the website is awful.

If the "owner" or whatever you are can't even code/make a decent layout then I wouldn't trust that company for a second.

The design sucks nevertheless, as always from you the work is "low quality paint job my grandmother can do it" type of work.

The layout may be simple, but it does the job its ment to do. Deliver what we offer, ways to get in contact and a little about ourselves.

I am thinking of buying a new domain and changing the name, however I am not sure.

Actually I do have an idea what I am speaking about, quit bumping yourself up making you look professional.

You are not, you are a teenager who fails at almost every website he makes.
The graphics are awful. I will highlight some in a moment, the font is awful.

Yes it comes from the MMOCCs but that doesn't mean you have to use crappy graphics.

I said it looks like a big JPEG with the quality it is.

The font is fine, and is used worldwide in most publications.

I am a teenager yes, so are most of the people on here however I try my best at every project I do. I think some people here just need to be a bit more mature, and stop bringing up the past. My websites do not fail, I just sell them on to make money.

The above image is blurry because you have zoomed in too far. That is not the reccomend viewing. The more you zoom it, the blury-er it gets ofcourse.

I come on here and post my websites because I have a right to do it, however the users on here like yourself bring up the past and destory the threads.

EDIT: Please also note it does say 'Temporary Cover'. It was hard to make a front cover because on a normal magazine, you would place a photo of some kind, however we could not do that. The front cover was not all important, because the magazine is online. I will be removing the front cover from the PDF at a later date.

EDIT: I just have to laugh. The reason it is looking blury to you is because you have zoomed in too far. West Island Group are a very good printing company, who do work for people like Tesco and Woolworths, so really their work is a good standard.

The front cover was important. IT is the first thing you see, and tell people if they want to read on or not.

The reccomended reading zoom is 66.7%. The front cover was very hard to do, therefore it is crud compared to the rest of the magazine.

Back to Fusion, what do you think of that then?

Fusion has been created by professionals, and is the best on the island. It is design perfect, and there is nothing wrong with it. The only reason you are saying its blurry, is because your 100% zoomed in, which is not the correct viewing zoom for a A4 magazine.

Fine, I zoomed into the correct "zoom level" and it still looks quite awful.

You can keep telling yourself that you work is "great" and "professional" but that doesn't change the fact that its not.. your work is nowhere near good, not even in the same country as good.

The only thing you really know how to do is register on forums over and over and get flamed, aswell as fail.

Also West Island group supplied the advert and even printed the magazine, and the image that was posted in this thread was taken from the PDF version at a zoom, therefore it will appear blurry.
