yeah it hurts like hell they strap you down and open your mouth and drill your teeth out and put metal on them.

Your teeth will ache for about 4-5 days afterwards, but after that its fine :D I had mine taken out a month ago, and now they are perfect! Its worth it :D

The most annoying thing about them is you cant have chewing gum :'(

I ate chewing gum regardless, and had no problem with it getting stuck / my teeth turning black and all that. It hurt for about two days after, on the first day it was impossible to eat but you get used to eat very quick.

Lmao yeah I still chew chewing gum at school etc and ive had my braces almost a year :P

And when you get your brace tightened every few months, It hurts like shitzaa for 2 days and a couple of weeks ago I had to have my braces tightened and the orthodontist said that he had to tighten them extra tight and I almost died with pain that night :(
