So it's just bits of meat that can't be cut off, so it has to be pressure blasted off?

If so, then what's wrong with it? Apart from it could contain BSE or whatever..

I hadn't heard about Mechanically recovered meat in about 5 years, I doubt there is anything to be worried about any more.

the hot dogs in tins are mechanicaly recovered meat says on label and thy are still lush :P

If you get any hotdogs that are 90% actual meat then that's well good lol, most of them are like 9% mechanically separated chicken, 83% breadcrumbs, 8% water lol
