Yeah but I was told that the routes take up alot of space?
Almost finished downloading anyway and yes the there were 12 download links and 11 were 98mb and 1 was 63mb so its just over 1gb
MSTS can take up to 40GB or more depending on the add-on routes you've installed ;)

I think thats fair to say about any game with Addons. and considering he was refering to the Orignal game i don't think your post is needed, i think the member is smarter to release adding more information such as the addsons would cause more space to be used.
He said he was told that routes can take up a lot of space and i was confirming that it indeed can take up a lot of space, so you can stop with the smartarse replies.

Actually, smartarse, the maximum for MSTS is about 70 to 80GB, unless he has multiple installtions of it installed of course.

Really? because the freeware, Addons and ots that i have run higher then that...
but then again i like to make sure the highest and latest graphics downloads are in... real sonds in... custom routes etc.
If your going to do it, do it properly.

You're not really doing it properly if you're driving custom routes... You need proper routes (ECML, WCML, DC) if you want to do it "properly". Also, most sound files don't take up much space, whether they're "real sounds" or not.

I was refering to custom as routes not included in the orignal package or payware packs.
'Most sounds' - there are sound files, or music files which do take up a larger amount of space, and theese are the ones i'm refering to and not a smaller soundfile that is repeated to make it sound longer or more complex.
Just to remind you , its a game... try to calm down.. its not real
