I recently got accepted to "gifted and talented youth" part of The University of Warwick, it's also called Aspire.. well Aspire is part of it i think "/
I was just wondering if anyone else here is part of the group?

no :( but they are some people in my skool who are, and Aim Higher. The Gifted and Talented went on a trip today I think lol oh the gin and tonic group as sir would say

oooh I think thats what I got but Im not doing it. Year 9 and there's like a maths one, science one, english one and pe one?

u do them at the beginning of year nine.... well my school did anyway "/ then again my school is rather lame. they're like little boxes that u cross and stuff, theres english and maths methinks

no its when u start year 7. yeah it tests you on like you general knowledge altogether because you tick stuff like on one it has a jigsaw piece and u gotta tick the correct picture on what it will look like if you rotate a certain way and stuff, but they get harder and you have such little time. thats the only example i can think of.
You don't get your CAT results back, it's for teachers use only

yeah u get cat tests in yr7 but i had them again in year 9 and thats what they judged the gifted and talented youth thing on

We call them Yelis tests I think.
I'm in Aspire, forced mainly. Yes it will be good on my CV, but I doubt I'd attend any of the classes.
