Imposible not to think?

Well I was trying this a min ago and i found it imposible to not think, then I tried i was thinking "Humm am I still not thinking, damb im think etc.."
Try doing it and see what u think when ur trying not to think :p

You can't do it on purpose. I've done it a few times: I'll be laying down or sitting and a fewe seconds will pass and I don't notice it, it can be scary if you don't notice something happen like a person entering the room then they appear in front of you.

If you're trying not to do something you're thinking about it.

Probably the only time when you're not really "thinking" is during a deep sleep.

Right now as I type, I am thinking.

I learnt that if you move your finger or toe, you transmit it to your brain first before processing the movement which is pretty cool.

I can zone out for minutes on end. I just focus on something and just study it. It's still thinking but it's quite easy thinking.

Only time you won't be thinking is when your dead , you think when you breathe even if you don't realise it , to breathe your brain has to tell your lungs to inhale and exhale.

erm, i often find myself day dreaming but thats about it really.
I takes me about an hour to get to sleep every night because you have to eradicate all thoughts from your head. How can you sleep when your thinking about that fit guy next door, which in my case is a 47yr old indian :D
