Nice one on going through with it, told you it wouldn't hurt :P and yeah when you try eating take it easy at first, it might be fine (I went home and had a load of really solid garlic bread after mine) but if you're unlucky you might be reduced to consuming only liquids for a day or so lol.

Whats it like when you eat?

i'm having a realllly hard job eating, I ate mushed up noodles for my dinner and it took me like an hour lol haha... still, I can't complain, it's not really hurting me too much, it's just awkward and unusual.

yeahh, it didn't hurt in the slighest, getting my ear lobes pierced with a piercing gun hurt more haha!
and yeah, like I said above ^, I think i'm best sticking with the liquids.


this has totally abolished my fear of piercings hurting now, if my tongue didn't hurt then I doubt anything else, that I plan to get done will hurt, seeing as they're all "smaller" than my tongue, if you get me (e.g, eyebrow)

it's just starting to swell up now, my voice is kinda going a little bit weird, but it's not as bad as I expected it to be.

Yeah that's that they told me too, they said that it shouldn't hurt more than my cartilage piercings (I had my hair up)

and I was like
"I had them numbed"

You said your ears hurt when you got them done right? My ears didn't hurt when I had them done. Some people have told me their ears hurt when they had them peirced, some said the toung hurt or belly when that had it done, others say it didn't hurt. I think it depends on the person, someone might be more sensative in certain places on the body than others.

well i was 6 when I had them done, so my pain tolerence obviously wasn't as high as it is now..

Its the same with a lip bar, when i had mine done the bar was massive and i kept on well biting it though now i've got a small one i cant even feel it in my mouth and you just eat and forget about it. ;)

Yeah like Matt said, once you get a smaller bar you'll get used to it and such. I think the thing about people saying it's painful is just because it looks painful, and also when you bite your tongue it really hurts - but what they don't take into account is that that's a blunt pain (because your teeth aren't as sharp as a needle) and actually hurts a lot more than the piercing.

Yeahh, i'm going to go and get it downsized in 2 weeks or so, even though it didn't even swell, well.... if it did swell then it's verry discreet.
