Uploadz has been down for some time, I am looking for someone to help me sort out the name servers on the server.

Also I have a bill for $ 7503.03 hosting for bandwidth - rofl.

Some changes will be made to the service to reduce bandwidth abuse

Thanks
Danny

uploadz has been suspended for ages due to breaking the acceptable use policy. the bill shouldn't be anywhere near that high. i don't think he should pay it.

I guess there shouldn't be an issue if you take this to court, due to the fact they suspended your hosting, your bandwidth should not have exceeded its quota (hence why they suspended the hosting). I could understand if they didn't suspend the hosting and your bandwidth went through the roof.

If I was in your shoes, and the company were to press charges, find a lawyer. If you do go to court, I think the maximum you will be fined $1,000 (at a push) it's better than 7.

Good luck anyway with what ever happens.

mmm wise words but youll have to pay the lawyer so what $1500 still cheaper but if you dont win you might not have to pay the lawyer.

Yes it is rather large, Maybe an email would have been more polite saying Please reduce your bandwidth or we shall fine you?

They won't take you to court for a $7k bill. Wouldn't be worth it for them. You just won't get hosted by them ever again.

It would be majistrates court, so it shouldn't cost anything for a lawyer (unless you have a personal lawyer come in).
