Colmc's always giving you extra!
Oh my, what a wonderful day for me....
Well actually, it's a much more wonderful day you guys! It's September, and the days are getting shorter. It's going to get colder, and more miserable and well, frankly, that's a bit depressing to think about, isn't it? Well, we've decided to make life that little bit sweeter. You know how in supermarkets, you buy a pack of something, and get 33% extra free or something like that? Well, on Habbo, we're giving you more for your money!
• If you call the £3 Habbo credits line (http://www.habbo.co.uk/credits/buy_credits/phone.html) you now get 45 credits instead of 35! (This applies to the UK line only!)
• If you buy £30 of credits with paysafecard (http://www.habbo.co.uk/credits/buy_credits/paysafecard) you now get a massive 450 credits!
• If you buy £30 of credits with your credit or debit card (http://www.habbo.co.uk/credits/buy_credits/credit_card.html), you now get 425 credits
Talk about some megadeals! And what's more is that this isn't a special offer, this is the new deal we're offering you on an ongoing basis! Now, if this isn't a good deal - I don't know what is - especially the paysafecard option! We started accepting paysafecard a couple of months ago, and it's been really popular, especially as you can buy the vouchers at thousands of shops across the UK that have a PayPoint machine. Easy, safe and now really good value - what more can you ask for? Wow, I almost feel like a lie down now!
Of course, the fabulous David Guetta turned up for a celebrity visit this week, which was enjoyed by all. There is such a buzz on Habbo when someone comes calling, it always makes me feel really good!
OK, that's it from me this week - see you all soon!
0rca's Whale of a Quest
Thank you to Munch101 (http://www.habbo.co.uk/home/Munch101) who has suggested I do a quest for my blog.
This is kind of a quest that I have made up... it’s a little treasure type hunt for you this week. The way it works is, I will ask a series of questions; the answers to those questions are passwords to my rooms which are called 0rca1 – 9. The corresponding numbers match the question number - so for question number 1, the answer will open 0rca 1 and so on. In these rooms you will see a letter. You have to collect all of the letters. The letters are not in order, you need to scramble them up to create a word. Once you have that word, you need to send me a story or a poem about that word. The one I feel is the best will win.
Simple as that... or is it? Because I can’t make it too easy for you, some rooms may be empty mwhahaha!
(N.B. All answers are in lower case)
1) If someone is annoying you in Habbo, which button do you press?
2) Who played Willy in the film about an Orca?
3) In real life we have a bottle bank to recycle. What do Habbos have?
4) Diasarno is described in the PS A-team as “The Laughing Cavalier”. What is the last name of the painter who painted that famous picture?
5) If you need to contact Player Support where can you find us?
6) What is the surname of the author of the book that Akela! got her name from?
7) Heidster is a HUGE fan of Dr Who. What is his time travelling machine called?
8) Who do you call if you need emergency help?
9) In the PS introduction, colmc dislikes what? Now, because my little competition took a while, I have no time to write any news, as once again it is Thursday morning :O
So, good luck with the competition! All entries need to be emailed to [email protected] no later than next Monday (24th September) evening. There is a gift on its way to Munch101 and the winner of this will receive a trophy and something else. Keep those suggestions coming in - I love them!
Oh BTW Otus is off to meet the new bunny on Saturday, wish him luck!

Hello Readers!
Firstly I'd like to take time to make an apology for my blog being missing for several weeks! It's been very busy in the land of Disarno (http://www.habbo.co.uk/home/Disarno). I've had an awful lot to do in such a short amount of space! It got so bad that I had to be jetted off to a Habbo Spa in the land of Sulakians ;) ! However now I am back and feeling more refreshed than ever!
I am sure your all wanting to know what I've been getting up to but there is far too much to say so I'll try to keep it short and sweet! I've had several birthdays this month and trips to go on which has meant I've not had the time to write a blog for a few weeks and I needed to catch up on other things! Not to mention being busy building the promotion rooms for Helkat (http://www.habbo.co.uk/home/Helkat). I've also been busy doing several interviews both radio and chat for several Fansites (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community/fansites) which has been absolutely great as I love to do them! I also had my Birthday last week so it meant a lot of celebrating and not remembering what happened! Hehe! :P
This week I have been concentrating on doing an autumn clean up! That means giving my car a good clean, my Habbo pixel a good wash and my Habbo Home some much needed maintenance to make it look even better!
It the midst of all that I have still managed to keep up with the entire goings on here at Habbo with the very famous Habbowood Challenge (http://www.habbo.co.uk/entertainment/habbowood/competition.html) being the biggest attraction!
I've managed to keep up with the recent goings on at NASA much to my delight! It has been a tough couple of months for the Mars Exploration Rovers as a major dust storm threatened the survival of both Rovers Spirit and Opportunity as they could not get enough sunlight to charge their batteries through the solar panels. NASA operators command the rovers to only do basic operations to stop the rovers using up more power that the solar panels could collect. It has now been reported that the dust storms have started to clear and the rovers are getting enough power to resume normal activities! Opportunity entered Victoria Crater during the rover's 1,291st Martian day, or sol, (Sept. 11, 2007). The rover team commanded Opportunity to drive just far enough into the crater to get all six wheels onto the inner slope, and then to back out again and assess how much the wheels slipped on the slope. The driving commands for the day included a precaution for the rover to stop driving if the wheels were slipping more than 40 percent. Slippage exceeded that amount on the last step of the drive, so Opportunity stopped with its front pair of wheels still inside the crater. The rover team planned to assess results of the drive, then start Opportunity on an extended exploration inside the crater. The teams will analyse the data collected and prepare a safe passage into the crater in order to continue science experiments. Below is a picture taken from the body of the rover, as you can see there is a shadow of the solar arrays and the camera mast:
