You cant just 'remove' them from certain sections mate.

Correct.

Plus, if you have a general knowledge of the subject matter at hand, and the others do too, its easy enough to allude to what you mean, without poisoning minds. :P

how is it poising minds?
People come across those words daily really it's childish they they are actually filtered.
And before someone says that 11 year olds could use this forum so? They do sex education at school..

to be honest the whole filter needs a rethink.

Correct.

The filter is fine for now.

You can swear and it does get filtered but people understand the filtered word anyway.

The obv wording would be we had 'sex' but being with F

It would depend on the word your trying to say and how you worded it. Though there's other words to use instead of swearing.

If you really want to discuss sex and sexual topics, go to a forum designed for it, e.g. www.forums.govteen.com

There isnt a sex section on this forum, and until there is I think the filter is fine.

As alex said, this forum isnt a specific sex forum, use a forum such as teenhelp.org if you want more info on that subject.

But its not the main feature though, sites like www.forums.govteen.com have special users and forums to discuss in detail remember we are based on Habbo, other forums are just addons. They dont have to be there.

Remove them from all then :)

Not an option :P Sorry.

I see what you mean, but there no point having sexual threads if there gonna be no sexual words.

You do not have to use sexual words. And really, its not for sexual advice...its more for advice on orientation, and health problems. That forum has suddenly become associated with genitalia and sex-related problems, which wasn't the original intent.

i think you should allow to say it, it not rude, and it doesnt offence anyone :(.

It was just an idea ;)

Once we allow it, even before we allow it, it is being used inappropriately.

how is it poising minds?
People come across those words daily really it's childish they they are actually filtered.

Because of the way some people use it.

And before someone says that 11 year olds could use this forum so? They do sex education at school..

That doesn't mean that the material here is appropriate for 11 year olds.

to be honest the whole filter needs a rethink.

If our members were all mature enough to not abuse the filter, it might not be needed. However we have a great percentage of users that will swear just because they can, and do so anyway currently.

no i didnt say that ;)

Yes, but that's a bad test because you were obviously trying your best to make it confusing to prove your point :P I'm sure that you could rephrase that sentence to make it more obvious what you mean.

That isn't meant really for genitalia or sexual intercourse discussion. Relationship, to discuss orientation, and the emotional aspects of relationships. Teen life is to discuss everyday things, not exactly what you did last night with your girlfriend. Health tips and advice is general, but as I said, its not really meant for what its predominantly used for.

If the forum not gonna be a sexual forum, then make a rule about it, There seems to be a sexual thread about it almost everyday, sometimes things like "How big is the normal size penis"

Ban them.

I throught you have to be 13 to join forums?
