In Sulake's blog (Latest addition to the Sulake website last summer), last Monday they posted about the Ecotron, it was a pretty boring article but it contains a statistic which is fairly interesting to some, all together the ecotron has reycled 4,634,117 pieces of furni.

It also confesses that it doesn't actually recycle your furni, but that the user's are meant to think that "the Habbo user receives a brand new piece of furni, which is in fact created from the old materials, or so the design makes you believe." Not like we believed them for a second anyway? :P

All along the seven year long history of Habbo (http://www.sulake.com/habbo) there has been people who do not understand why anyone would buy virtual furniture – in other words they have misunderstood the whole concept of Habbo, which is not to sell virtual items, but entertainment and experiences. You can compare it to e.g. going to the movies.

At least for the people mentioned above it must be beyond comprehension that the same virtual furniture is being recycled as well. In Habbo, it is possible to recycle the virtual furni that you don’t need anymore. In exchange for recycling the old items, using a recycling device called Ecotron (http://www.habbo.com/hotel/furniture/ecotronfaq), the Habbo user receives a brand new piece of furni, which is in fact created from the old materials, or so the design makes you believe. In a virtual world the bits of data are of course always new.

A joke? Maybe not. Since it's launch, the Ecotron device has recycled 4.634.117 pieces of virtual furniture and the amount increases all the time. Hopefully Habbos are as enthusiastic recyclers in the real world too!

I don't like the furni. I hope they change the furniture that comes out every year, otherwise it will be used less lol

Personally, I think its a waste of money, everyone can get these "rare furnizzz" so the price gets lower and lower.
Ill keep my ducks thanks :]

Nice find, thanks :]

Pretty interesting, I guess its a good way to get furni amounts down. Tbh, I think its a waste unless you're getting tickets, but the Polar Sofa is ridiculous, 50 peices of furni for something thats worth, what, like 2CS? :S
