Hey guys :)

I was just wondering what hosting plans you are on, how big your site is, and what your hosts name is.

If you use a free host, tell me if you would ever consider using a paid host, or do you only have a free host because it is free?

This is how I would like you to set out your reply:

Space: 10 Megabytes
Bandwidth: 2 Gigabytes
Other features: 10 FTP accounts, 10 subdomains etc
Cost: £Amount
Hosts website: www.host.com
Ever had any downtime on any service?: Yes or no

Thanks for your help :)

Actually, it's terrible. I dont understand why people say they dont have much downtime with them. You realise that when FTP, POP3, Webmail, or anything isnt working, that is still classed as downtime? Its not just when people cant access your site.

In my opinion, It doesnt matter if you are notified or not, there should be no downtime in the first place (where downtime is considered longer than 2 hours). Does your computer go wrong if you dont reboot it? No it doesnt. The same goes for servers, unless something new is added, they dont need to be rebooted. And when they are rebooted, it doesnt take as long as Ax take.

I could write an essay of bad things about Ax. The only advantage of Ax is that they are quite cheap.

On Habbox we used to go down for days on end with Ax. There is never any need to do that unless you dont know what your doing.

I am curious. Have any of you guys using Ax tried another paid host ever? Im not saying you should, Im just curious.

Edit: Before anyone says downtime is unavoidable, Mediacatch seem to avoid it.

Ive had other payed host than, Ax and for price and what you get the others made **** sound good in comaprison, Ax has downtimes, but its not crippling.

PLus teh reboots are there due to the adition of new / more fetures, also, optimsing the server for faster loading times, which have deffitaly improved.
Old page load time, was about 2 seconds now its about 0.1314 :D
