When your reporting threads do you have to leave your name or does it automatically pop up when mods read it??

They know, your name goes along with the report :)

Every post reported comes with the name of whoever reported it, even if more than one person reports the same post, although its best to be the first to report the post because your name would be most noticable in the thread title. ;)

I am not sure if the post reports gets sent to the moderators email (like a year ago), or if its automatically posted in a forum.

But if its posted in a forum, its automatically posted under your name. It contains the link to the post and what you wrote when you reported the post.

what nick said :P

That's just a pointless post :S You are a moderator, you should be setting an example. -rep

Here is one of the many email reports I have received, Obviously removed 2 things which you don't need to know :);

The thread that is created we Forum Moderators can't see, I'm not sure if it's a different way for Forum Super Moderators / Administrators.

Its both, sort of.
We see the section with all the reported posts but dont have any sent to our email account and the normal moderators get it sent to their email account without seeing the section. :)
