[Decode]

How may of you use it?

(Classlink is an anoying thing that teachers use at school to to things like ban people from the internet, block websites, and control the computer you are using when you dont want them to, log you off unexpectedly and lag the computers.)

They did it once at our school, and this girl went insane and started smacking the keyboard because she wanted to do her work. And, then some guy did the same and managed to get it off his screen.

Didn't have it in my school... Actually I have no idea what they used at our school... Just a server and network and website blocker... Seemed like as the network was fast ^_^

The computer techs at my school were pretty damn stupid, they didn't block cmd :S caused abit of havvoc until they threatened to exclude us, there's always a way of getting round those kinda programs.

I think we have our own unique system that the school designed. Not 100% sure anyway. And mind you, if we do get blocked we just get the computer genius Muzzy to hack into the school network.

Yes my school uses something along those lines, they only brought it in this year and it is a real bugger because you can barely even get stuff that will actually help you with your Education as they blocked practically everything but last year so I suppose it will spur me on to get on with my ICT coursework more.

Its annoying.. never know when theyre watching, and when the mouse moves your like "oh crap" :P

At my 6th form they use Bloxx filter which is controlled by the county (although the school can blacklist individual sites).

No, we use this Novell system.

Its quite dumb in my opinion. Half the people that can code user systems could code something better.

our school rather than block everything just allow like 10 sites,

someone hacked the admin account though (they think were stupid, user:admin pass:admin as long as you click workstation only) so now i think it broke your year 9 and above

we have netop but its fun coz you go on the teachers pc and take control without them knowing, then move the mouse and type things, its so funny
