Extra time.
We could well be heading for it 0-0 against Man City, good performance though.

Good 'ole Bendtner.

I really don't understand why he played Bendter and Eduardo because in all honesty, the Carling Cup is the only piece of a silverware we'll probably win this season.

Naa, im not. I'm only really going to go to the away cup games if we get further in the cups. And i've got things to do.
My brothers gone to the match, he left at 4 o'clock. He goes to every match - home and away.
I never go to the away ones, always the home ones tho.
I dont know how far they are either :S

To be honest, I didn't think we had much of a chance, but michael mifsud oh yes! :)

And 2-0 against man u is a nice result ESPECIALLY us being away.

Happy I am :)

Yes I am. We only had our "great" foreign imports Anderson, Dong and Nani playing... With the likes of O'Shea, Eagles and Kuszczak as the only other recognisable "stars" who played from the start. Joined by Carrick and Brown on 46 mins.

Sorry :P

Main word there, should.
Best player we've recently brought up who's English is Chris Eagles, the rest is utter rubbish. They never get a chance to play 1st team cos of all the foreign imports they feel the need to buy for instant results.

I agree, United may not ahve played there strongest team but at the end of the day thats the managers decision. We won and nobody will take that away from us (although people will try) :) But yeah, Fergie should have put out a stronger team against us and I imagine that if there was a rematch tomorrow then man u would most likely win!

But enough of that :)

Oh I totally agree, it's no one's fault but Sir Alex's. The last time he took this competition seriously was the last time we won it, or got in the finals can't actually remember (3 seasons ago I think?)

Sorry it sounds like I'm trying to take the victory away from Coventry, well done to them :) Here's to this season's cup finalists (Y):P

i also think it gives you the indication of just how good arsenal youngsters are compared to the machester united youngsters thats a perfect example tonight, the difference between wenger and fergie and how good wenger is at bringing up the younger players and giving them more of a chance.. they beat the newcastle first team last night while machester united couldnt turn over a lower league opposition in coventry...

I agree, but then wenger and ferg are 2 completly different managers and approach things differently! All of arsenal is pretty much youngsters anyway though haha.

I have to say, taking nothing away from Coventry, but Fergie does the same every year with United, puts out like reserve/youth team in the cups, and expects to do well. Well he needs to realise it ain't gonna happen! Also Jordie, I bet we get drawn against you next round ;)

Not his fault that Davey Moyes never atchually bothered to play him start. Everytime he starts a game he normally always score. He scored against Arsenal and he scored today.

He came on against Man Utd at the end and we nearly scored, and he didn't come on late on for Uefa.
