I got the new ipod nano and tryed to put a music video on it (Mpg format) and i get this error message.

You need to change it to a flv file format.

Try downloading Total Video Converter.
Or upload it to www.zamzar.com then convert it to an iPod format (flv) then you must download it again and it is ready to be put onto your iPod.

I bought one today aswell. :)
