Our annual award ceremony, the HAFTAs, is reaching the final stages!

The HAFTAs (http://www.habbo.co.uk/entertainment/habbowood/haftas.html) celebrate films that are recreated inside Habbo Hotel by legendary room builders and creative geniuses such as yourselves! In order to be considered as a nominee for one of our 10 awards you needed to either create or find a room that fits the award genre you are entering. The room that you found or made had to look like a movie set with a section of the room dedicated to the scene in progress and a section of the room dedicated to behind the scenes.


Our nominees have been choosen, through public submission and staff nosey-ing about in your rooms. All of our eventual winners will be chosen by a panel of Habbo Staff judges from the nominees.

I didnt advertise my room at all. I only nominated it and left it at that.
When HelKat was going round the rooms, i asked her if she'd seen mine and she said she had already, and i hadnt seen anyone in the room for ages. I think it's not just down to which rooms were open at the time ;)
However i must add, that some of the rooms chosen were very poor indeed, and there probably needs to be something done about making sure its fair for some ppl, as i cannot see how half those rooms got in. I've seen much better ones for certain categories i must say

I didn't enter this competition but i've looked around some of the rooms and some of them are awful tbh. Well done to whoever got through anyway.. Although it's clear some people tried A LOT harder then others. Some rooms that didn't get through are a hell of a lot better then rooms that did.

I just wanna clarify summat here.
I nominated my room like over a week ago, and left it at that. I didnt ask ppl to nominate cuz it wasnt like a popularity vote. WHen HelKat was looking round the rooms on the Hafta's rooms list that had ppl in them, i asked her if she had seen my room, and she sed she had. My room hadnt had anyone in it for ages, and if there had been, wudve only been 1 or 2 ppl at most, so she wudnt've noticed it on the list. So i think you'll find she probably did check all the rooms that were nominated, maybe earlier in the week, and then just went round the popular ones just to build tension? xD
idk, but i know i got in and only nominated once, and my room was never popular.

Why post same thing twice? And they don't fix competitions anyway. Think about it. They would gain nothing from fixing competitions except a bad reputation and a loss of customers.

Nevertheless, it is odd that the same names are always popping up on competitions despite the tousands of people that supposidly use Habbo. I suppose they are just the few that bother with competitions and are rich enough to make decent rooms or play Habbo long enough to make Movies or w/e. Personally, I prefer having a life :).
