I think there should be a thread under the Category 'Habbox' with 'Habbox Staff Openings' or something along those lines which the manager/admins/assistants etc can post job openings in the forum instead of in the announcements forum which would save having to look through loads of threads to find job openings.

If needbe they could still post in the Announcements but with a link to the post in the job openings thread, if you get what im saying.. :P

In my opinion it should be as it is. I find it sort of tacky when they have a seperate section :'(.
Perhaps they could just sticky job openings in The Announcements like some forums do.

I like this idea a lot.

I sometimes miss the job openings because i only look in announcments every so often.

I see your point however Job openings are usually needed more and sometimes job openings open for weeks and weeks so after the first few days it goes onto the second page of announcments.

Read it first time, and theres more threads on resigning and promotions than opening and closing jobs.

Then if alot of jobs open would put latest announcements way down, overall just easier to make new forum ;)

Good point but lets be realistic here.

Usually the ammount of job openings are 2 or 3?

If thats a problem make 1 thread called job openings in announcements and reply with the jobs to that like some official forums do.

Its easier to make a new forum at the end of the day.. Also when the applications closed thered need to be another post stickied to say its closed?

Soft?

And because you're to lazy to click on a different forum to see jobs doesnt mean everyone is. ;)

An admin chooses if they wish for it to take part or not, not wasting my time debating with you which has no affect on the situation, So stop posting.

I personally think it's fine how it is, it's not that hard to check annoucements every now and again.

Its easier to find the thread for applying so more applications for manager :P

Yeah I suppose more applications would be good so you could have a bigger range to pick from. I don't reckon it'll make a massive difference though.

I think it will as if the applications are open for roughly a week or more it'll probably go onto the second page, thus when people apply they dont look at second page usually and dont see them thus preventing them from applying, where as if the new forum open then they'd not go onto second page, and if they did they could always look at only job openings would be posted there.

I dont really see the point all jobs are on habbox.com && annoucements if users cant be bothered to check then they clearly are not worth being staff.

Galaxay1

Its & not &&.

And habbox isnt always updated as it even currently has HxHD which trialists just passed so old much? ;)

I like this idea, because even current staff have to check back through old threads to find Job Openings announcements for whatever reason.

I wouldn't like to see Jobs totally removed from the announcements forum though, and managers could possibly post their jobs thread in the Jobs bit, and then an announcement with a link to that thread in the announcements, to make sure everybody actually knows what is going on.

+rep for suggestion.

Making a sub-forum in the announcements forum sounds like a good idea to me :)

Whether its a subforum in the Announcements or a new forum in the Habbox category aslong as it individualises (if thats a word ) the job openings from other 1000 announcements :P.

and yeh adzeh, my idea was to Post in the job openings forum but post in announcements with a link to the thread posted in job openings if you get me ;)

It is easier for the members have the job openings separate and has worked for HabMate when it was suggested and introduced about 2 months ago so good idea:)
