Hey guys.

I am considering going for a wee break to London at some point with my girlfriend in around December time.

I have looked for flights and have gotten fairly cheap ones - however I'm looking for decent, yet cheap, accommodation.

I'm wondering if some of you could please help me find some cheap hotels and stuff which I could stay in... I don't know exact dates or anything but I am just looking for quite general quotes at the moment so I have a rough idea in order for me to budget.

+27rep for all help! Thanks :)

EDIT: MY DATE OF STAY IS DECEMBER 15

travelodge.co.uk
very cheap. on the left, click £15 rooms and follow that. if you dont find anything there, go back to the homepage and click £26 pound rooms, or something like that.

Yeh! Anything really lol.

Just somewhere to sleep tbh lol. It does not need to be 5* or anything (as long as it isn't pure run down!) :P

I beg your pardon?

I'm quite clearly looking myself but you are obviously the thick one pal as when booking such a thing as a hotel word of mouth is the best way you can find out about it. I can go and find some really cheap hotel or something - but it could be the biggest pile of crap in London. This way I get to hear peoples own experiences and get some feedback upon others stay and therefore apply that to my own needs and my trip.

You clearly have nothing constructive to say - so I suggest you don't post at all you loser.

Your calling me thick? Have you not heard of review sites? Find out a hotel yourself then search it on google and reviews should up for the hotel. Seriously its not very hard to find out this stuff unless your seriously thick or just lazy.

No I don't? :S I look for some suggestions. When I created a thread asking for present suggestions I had already gotten my girlfriend her main present but was just looking for some extra suggestions for smaller cheaper stuff that people had maybe came across.

Lol if you idiots have some sort of issue then don't read my threads nor post in them? Simple as.

U could get a train down to london? May be cheaper, but a little longer. Premier travel lodges are good because they arent as cheap but they are in greta locations depedning onw here u wasnt to be. they have restaurants etc inside them which is quite nice. Travelledoges do aswell im sure but i havenmt been with them :P

U could stay at the one by tower bridge which is nice :P

heres the list i eman it depends where abouts u wanna go realy as u will probs wanna be central and be near a tube station.

I searched for prize instead of BEST location, like near town centre, but anyways I found this http://book.easyhotel.com/city.asp?query=United-Kingdom+London+GB+LON&S=GPPC&gclid=CMWCzrGN7o4CFQ5EMAodM0BxJg

I tried to find 1 that looks good but not too expensive, but I dunno if the prize is too high etc.. for ur likeings, anyways I tried my best.

Deffo get a travel lodge or travel in, best to get one out of the city in the suberbs, (so it'll be cheaper) and it'll only be a half hour train journey. I'll pm you more, (don't want everyone to know where/when you are!)

deffo heathrow. if you look at it, gatwick is actually pretty far out from central london. however, if you go to gatwick there is a train straight to london bridge if i remember correctly, but heathrow would probably be much easier and cheaper.
