portfolio update..

Well.. I know, it's been a long time since I posted something..

Well, time to make it up :p

my portfolio 2nd-design.com has been under maintenance for a while now.

And I've just finished 2 designs.. one coded, one to be coded within this week I hope.

Now you vote which one :)

(my vote goes to the second one :p)

Anyway, here goes:

NOTE: when i made this i was using my PC & macbook both.. this coused some images to have different colours etc. Which I didn't bother to update as I had another design in my mind (design #02).

although I find the #02 quite clean in its own style..

Indeed, the purple came out a bid dodgy, so I tried a second colour & loved it straight away =)

I think you should use design one for your porfolio as it has the whole portfolio feel to it, design 2 looks amasing but it doesn't feel right for a portfolio.

Btw design one loads a bit slow for me.

i like design 2 though although, as tom said, it doesn't feel like a portfolio.

I prefer the one you have now to be honest. I love the second one but it has the clan feel it it as its quite dark and has that shine feel that most clans adopt.

I have decided I will make a completly new design for my portfolio but along the lines of design 01.

I'll be using design 02 for some other site i'll be making.

(Anyone who has idea's for a site or partnership in something, feel free to pm me)

What's added with flash ?:


Moving.. umm.. black lines/tentacle sort of things which can be "feezed" and "unfreezed" by clicking on them
Speakers are animated
Rollover & on Hold-down effects added to the navigation.
Moving ">>" icon when you rollover "more information".
Green effect lines "flicker" or brighten now and then.

Hmm.. thats actually a nice idea :) i'll try it.
Actually :p I wouldn't do a connection between the green bit & the nav buttons.. (I misunderstood you for a sec ;))

edit2: i thought you mean when you hover over the logo.. the green inside the logo goes on/off smoothly continuesly.
