The Panel has spoken the final decision was reached by our panel in traditional Eurovision style - each judge could award from 1-5 points (5 points to the best, then 4,3, 2, 1 in decreasing order) to the five movies thought to be the best. These points were then counted up and the winner was the film with the largest total.

And the winner is...

"When you are sleeping" (http://www.habbo.jp/entertainment/habbowood/movies/2583) by Marsa.jp from Habbo Japan with 20 points!

What the judges said:
http://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/album2627/Hw_hitcher.gif"I liked the idea of the film describing what happens to the characters during the night. It had a strong playful feel which was assisted with a cleverly made sound track." ~ Tim Searle
"Magic in the air! A completely different world out there during the night!" ~ Sampo Karjalainen
"A nice in-joke, and the most realistic story to tackle in this format. That unloved pets have to work night shifts in factories, and the minibar fairy is a skinhead in a pink T-shirt only added to my enjoyment." ~ Jim Thacker
"Dramatically, a good hook and excellent set-up. Awful music however, innovative ideas and enjoyable humour." ~ Antti Jokinen
"I loved the concept of this film. It was a very clever idea to go behind the scenes of the Habbo Hotel and to see what happens to the characters during the night. I liked the use of the narrator to ground the story and then reveal scene by scene the secret nocturnal adventures. The film had a playful use of music, which greatly helped this playful tale." ~ Matt Johnson

---------
The 4 follow ups are, in order:

2) HABBO RU 16 points
"Based on a true story, eh? If I were fresh out of jail, I doubt the inadequacies of mobile reception would be the first of my worries. But at least love triumphs over evil, Vodafone, and narrative logic in the end." ~ Jim Thacker

3) HABBO ES 15 points
"I really liked this film it had a surreal blend of Quentin Tarrantino and Pedro Amaldovar! It was a dark and complex tale and the story came over very strongly. I liked the use of the 'magical' flashback the colour treatment applied worked well to show the dreamlike quality of the scene. A great script well told." ~ Matt Johnson

4) HABBO CA 14 points
"Unrequited love, broken dreams and a body in a box: it's like Fatal Attraction re-enacted in Lego. With strange farting sounds. The ending is a cliffhanger, but bonus points for the joke about Kibbles 'n Bits." ~ Jim Thacker
"Great storytelling! But as a musical, I hoped for more dancing and singing!" ~ Sampo Karjalainen

5) HABBO IT 10 points
"Well told action thriller" ~ Sampo Karjalainen
"A good beginning but the music did not support the action and the drama. Good energy, edgy, a little bit all over the place" ~ Antti Jokinen

Congratulations to all our fellow Habbo countries. Commiserations to our UK rep Conkers. (http://www.habbo.co.uk/home/Conkers.) a worthy entry but sadly not the winner. Conkers. is still our winner though and we're proud of him!

Winning video is so boring, I turned it off like halfway through. It's a good plot though :)

Well done to the winner.
