What browser are you using? My IE doesn't automatically update so I have to use FireFox. Domains usually take around 24 hours to fully set up (well, this was a few years ago, i don't know if speeds have updated). I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the hosting and DNS, just flick back tomorrow and see if it's working.

Sometimes your server can block your machine. In this case you need to contact your host asking them to allow your IP through their servers. May I ask what host you use?

Stange, if you have not already try this:
Start Menu
All Programs
Accessories
Command Promt
Type: config/flushdns
Delete all internet cookies, history, everything.
Restart PC.
Try then.
Do not visit any websites after you done the command promt until you have restart.
