Is the driving age going up soon?

I'm 17 in like a year, and I hope to god it really doesn't.. I don't care about drinking age I just want to drive so badly.

basicallyyy, there has been talk about it, however, no bill has been put into parliament. and bills usually take a year to pass through the government, so by them, you'll be 17 and driving :)

well the current driving age is 17 in the uk, which i think most people know. according to wikipedia anyway. ill keep on looking around to see if it will increase, but if its not plastered all over the internet about it going up, then i doubt for certain it will increase as it would be everywhere imo.

according to this http://www.2pass.co.uk/driving-age.htm there are no such plans etc, and even when/if they do announce its going up then surely it will take at least a year to go through courts/government issues and stuff so if your 17 in like a years time i dont really think u need to worry about it.

Hmmm Ive being hearing all these rumours in college too, people said a few weeks ago that if you are born after October 31st 2007 you have to wait until you're 18. Obviously this is just speculation cus there is not real evidence, but it seems to be a pretty widespread and accurate rumour.

I hope not too, cus Im a 1991 baby :(!
