My mum works as a manager of Tesco Express down the road, and ive got a job. On sundays 6am - 4pm with 1hr break. I get paid £200 a month. Im going to start saving 1 grand for a custom pc.

Im so happy.

Actually you can get a job at 14, however you can only do a few hours and a few days... he said hes doing Sunday and I can't remember what hours lol.. but yeah its not much.. When your 16 you can do 40 hours a week :) Oh and just for anyone to know its extremely hard to get a job at 14 lol :)

before the end of school hours on any day you have to go to school
for more than two hours on any day you have to go to school
before 7.00am or after 7.00pm on any day
for more than two hours on a Sunday
in street trading.

Doing chores is something completely different to working. Also I don't need to work to gain my pocket money as my paper round brings in enough ;).

Also the only work I do on a Sunday is for my football from the amount of work I do on the pitch but I don't class that as real work more of a hobby :p

You should care seeing as your mother could be convicted for knowingly hiring a 13 year old and giving him hours that arent legal...breaking the law is breaking the law. They dont give leniance just cus you dont care :S
