but we have only just advanced our technology within the last 100 years practically, and to find anything it would take many years for the message we send to be returned, and we havent gone further than our own moon yet and the galaxy alone is huge and there are other earthlike planets that we have just recently discovered. there is alot of possability for life

No, seeing as "universe" defines the area in which everything exists that is extremely unlikely.

Well, it would've been found. It's not quite difficult to find it. & if there was, don't you think we'd have people coming here in spaceships looking to see & examine Earth? We would've found it already, I think. BUT, there may be planets we have not yet found & there could be life on there. We never know. But for now, I'd say no.

For one, we haven't really been or seen much outside our own solar system and considering there's an entire universe to be seen we can't say much. Second, apparently lots of aliens come to examine us in UFOs, some people believe it some people don't.

why would aliens visit us or try and contact us anyway, if they have the means of flying here through lightspeed etc then we are obviously to primative for them and they wont bother with us

I don't see how the universe is never ending.. it has to end somewhere :S Yeah, I do think there are other living things on other planets, they are probably thinking the same as we are and are wondering wether they are the only things in the universe

In my Opinion its just ignorant to think that out of the whole universe and its many mysterys, we are the only living life forms.

I DO think their is living things on other planets/outta universe that our technology isnt good enough to find out about yet. I think just like us. Evolution has occured somewhere else and has made a living specie(s) interesting question really, no one will really know.

There was a mathmatical equation done by a scientist and it showed that the probability of life in the universe was very high, it was like.. every 1 in a billion planets or something of that sort (sorry no sleep. )

Couldn't say it better myself. Look at how small the Earth is compared to the Sun. The Sun is like an electron in an atom compared to the rest of the universe , I believe there is something out there. Perhaps not intelligent life but yeah if we can exist why can't anything else?
