Hello there
Well, today, I want to talk about shaving
Im 14 atm, well 15 in March
I have a mustash, quite thick as you can see it from like 2 metres away. However, it is not very thick.
My brother started shaving when he finished year 11, however, atm im in the beginning of year 10
Im thinking of shaving it as people call me turk (turkish) jus coz of ma mustash, without it i wnt look turkish
But, i feel that im too young and as Im in secondary school, people may just take the **** etc. Help ;P

you're not too young. i don't think people would take the **** because shaving is part of a mans life - you're going to do it sometime. as long as you actually need a shave, you should be ok. people will just be jealous that you started before them.

I know but i personally feel that im too young as my brother started shaving when he was 16
and also, im worried that it'll just grow back more bigger etc and then ill be in a worse scenario

you just keep shaving when needed. of course it will grow back, but you just shave like once a week, maybe every two weeks. don't worry about it, i started shaving at 17 and that was this year...
Matt.

It is fine to shave at your age. I remember I started when I was in year 10/11.
Shave whenever it's needed really. My first shave was at the end of year 9 lols. I remember crappin' myself on my first time lmao :D.

If you're worried about shaving than just use an electric one. That's what I do and it does the job lol.

I was shaving at the end of year 8/beginning of year 9, seriously just go for it.
Electric ones are good but they don't always get all of it, that's what I found anyway. It's really hard to actually cut yourself shaving, I only ever done it once (while getting ready for a date, haha), and I been shaving for like 2 and a half years now.
&Yeah, it will grow back thicker, any hair you shave will grow back thicker & quicker, just gotta shave more lmao.

Dont forget, if you start early, you will have to shave more often later on. So if it is not that bad, i would leave it until it is really bad.
If your worried about it growing back bolder and more often, then buy some hair removing cream. This should stop it growing back so often, although you can get some rashes from this when you first use it.
Dont listen to some of these comments, simply because they think it is cool to shave :P
Anyway, hope all is well!

He's getting picked on for it though. And when you have like a lot of 'whisker hairs' it makes your face look dirty when it's actually not.

the only facial hair you should laugh at is on woman when you tell them they have a bit of food stuck in their moustache

i started shaving in year eight so you aren't exactly too young but then again you aren't too old either so just go for it ;s teenage mustaches don't look that attractive tbh and shaving isn't all it's cracked up to be altogether, it's actually quite annoying, especially when you have to do it practically every day :|

Its actually incorrect that it grows back faster and with more hairs, it only seems that way because in the mind, it one day sees it as a nice size, then see's it as a small amount, then back to its normal self. The brain emphasizes the growth of the hair to you, so..
Man, i gotta stop with this ;D

Just shave it.
If people are so immature to stare at mustashes then they must be bored.
I must admit they are not the best thing to stare at.
If i was u shave it off.

Shaving is a part of growing up. If it's needed, then it's needed. So, I think you should.

Get's annoying, I want a beard, but my parents dislike it and force me to "take it off". :P

I'm guessing that most of the people who started shaving in year 9 and below are indian or coloured. Or INFACT they're lieng. I'm 16 and just recently had my first shave.

Some people develop early, I know someone who had proper stubble by year 9.
Also 'coloured' is not an acceptable term (as everyone is coloured), it's just black now.

Odear, just because you are physically stunted or shall I say a late developer, doesn't mean the majority or minority are because I am in fact White/Caucasian and started shaving when I was in year eight which made me 12/13 or maybe you are just stupid and oblivious to the fact that some people years younger than you are actually more developed than you happen to be.

Coloured isn't the politically correct term... And there's someone in my year (year 9) who has had a huge moustache since about this time last year.

I'm not indian or coloured, I'm English, I have no relations to indian or coloured people. Learn to spell lying, and no why would I lie about shaving?
That's cos you just got pubes mate!

I've had ***** for years you idiot. I've only just started to shave though. I'm not saying you CANT get a beard at the age of 12. I'm saying it is rare and i doubt like 10 people on this forum started to shave when they're 12.

Why would I lie about something like that, are you implying I feel the need to 'big myself up' on a forum with people I will never meet because if that's so you are deluded/stupid :S
& just because you know one person who started shaving when they were in year nine that means nothing, how do you know other people didn't shave when they were in year eight :S because generally when you shave it's so people don't notice you have facial hair
