Would you say this is unfair?

Well today I had 2 have my brace took off early, iv had it on for 1 year 6 months and she took it off because last time she put it on, and she cancled a apointment, she didnt clip the ends off and kept digging into my gum so I had this for about 8 weeks, and a few weeks ago it realy made made by gum saw so I decided to pull the wire off, but at the same time one of the things came off.
So she took my brace off 2day :@
So that means all that time was a waste of time :l

You mean your braces right? I would say it's unlucky, not unfair. Cause you decided to pull off the wire. You could've booked an appointment & gotten her to fix it for you.

If you just called in at the orthodontist when they were digging in (like I did a few months ago when it was happening to me) she'd have fixed them for you, it's your own fault.

The average treatment for 2 year braces (Which I had) is £3,000 to the NHS, you probably did a fair few hundred pounds damaged pulling them off so why should they fork out the extra cash to fix it when you did the damage to yourself?
