The dark is rising - any good?

Has anyone seen it yet? I wanna know if its good or not because I might go see it at the cinema on Wednesday

Really rubbish film, went to see it and it has no plot whatsoever.

Christopher Eccleston is the only good actor that plays his part to perfection, but all the other actors seem dull and boring.

The main character, Will, randomly finds the sings when he's randomly walking down the street, and has no reason behind it at all.

And the ending has a stereotypical ending:

The 6th sign is located within somebody's soul, and as soon as that's revealed to the audience it's obvious it's located within the main character.

Just seeing the trailer/advert made me know it was a awful film and i could tell it had no storyline. I wasnt going to go near it, alot of other films am looking forward to seeing before that junk. :)
