Army Of Two delayed till 2008

There's a valid reason behind the marketing vacuum surrounding EA's co-op shooter Army of Two—it's been delayed until next year. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 shooter that uses the buddy system was due to ship to retailers in a few weeks, just in time for holiday shopping hysteria, but the company has seen fit to give the team at EA Montreal more time to "polish" Army of Two. The game was noticeably absent at EA's E For All booth, instead focusing on The Simpsons Game, Team Fortress 2, NFL Tour and Medal of Honor entries, so I'm not clear on exactly how unpolished the game was at this point. Looks like "early 2008" is going to be as chock-a-block with big releases as the fourth quarter was originally intended to be.
Call Of Duty 4 Length
Apparently 5-6 hours

Call of Duty 4
+ Slick split story is gripping
+ Tremendous battle scale
+ Brilliantly judged pace changes
+ Helicopter bonanza!
- Dense but very short
9/10

Rock Band without online co-op

When you travel from city to city in Rock Band (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/RockBand/)'s "World Tour" mode, you'll be stuck performing with bandmates across the den from you, rather than across the country, according to Harmonix. In a forum post (http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=5687&page=3) from a company staffer, it was revealed that online co-op won't be a part of the World Tour, though it's still included with the quickplay and competition modes.
If you were looking forward to hitting the road with a global band you might fight some comfort in the fact that the feature is still being developed. Sadly though, we don't know if we're talking about a feature for DLC or Rock Band 2: Rock Harder.
