I hate them. First off, my family pays our taxes. So lets say we give lots of our money to the school. Now with this money they do nothing except pay the teachers. Now, they charge us school fees (70$). Now they have about $40,000. With this money and the tax money combined, they spend this money on a security system at the library, and the stupid damn hockey academy (they rent out a whole skating rink everyday!).

Ok, so we spend all our money on a security system at the library, and hockey academy. Now whats left is...... oh wait, there is nothing left.
I am on the volleyball team, half the volleyballs are flat, the nets are 20 years old, the uniforms are for the soccer team, and we barely get a proper practice. Now, the basketball team is coming up, and seeing as this is a more popular sport then hockey at our school, you would think they would spend money on it? Nope. We might not even have one, because we cannot find a coach. Wow, what bullcrap. And whats worse, is they STILL expect us to pay for more and more stuff, such as:

Computer print outs (10 cents each)
Cutlery (10 cents each)
Homework planner ($8)
Lost textbooks ($80)
Field trips (Varies)
School supplies
Woodwork wood ($5-$15)

I for one, can't stand this any more. The schoolboard found a way to get by a law making sure kids don't have to pay schoolfees, they threaten us with taking away our yearbooks and stuff like that. Its fraud, we shouldnt have to pay this kind of money. We pay taxes, then we pay school fees, then we pay fees for stuff that has been paid for already! I hate this, I wish someone would stop this!

I dont under stand wot the $40,000 is and the $90 is.

But yah if its seriously that bad move schools, after all its not like a state school where its free your paying for it. You should be able to see where your money is going.

Its like this everywhere, and since there is 600 kids in the school, and most of them pay their school fees, they get about 40,000 a year, and they spend this money on nothing but the library and hockey academy.

Hmm why do people think because you have money you live a complete different life?

And at my school you have to pay for trips and if you lose textbooks. Nothing else except food.

My mom was wondering the same thing. Like why does she pay taxes & then have to pay for school trips, etc. Cause what else are they using these taxes for? Probably nothing really.
