[Hopeless]

You’re the one that makes me calm
You’re the one that causes myself harm
You’re the one that’s always on my mind
You’re the one that is always so kind
When I found out that you were a lie
That’s when I started to cry
Now you really do cause me harm,
And makes me feel, anything but calm
When I think of you my heart breaks inside
Just because you lied.


Now I try to stand up tall
You’re the one that made me feel so small
That’s why you always see me cry
You made me feel like I could fly
I look around for a friend who can help me land
And someone that can only attempt to understand
But when I make the message it can never send
I can’t send it, not even to my friend
I don’t want to be hurt again, and lose my pride
Just because you lied.


4 Years from the day and I have got someone new
Someone I can trust, someone that isn’t you
Even though it will never be the same
Because I cant have my first love again
But, you can stand seeing me happy again
So all I can say is go get a pen
Write this down and read it and try to confide

I'm not into the emo thing so thats the only bit I don't like and I seen you did rhyming likes every other line but on a few it doesn't seem to rhyme..
